Arcadia Youth Wrestling Club

Wrestling is one of those sports that builds character. It builds resilience. Kids who wrestle are more equipped to handle adversity in virtually every aspect of life.

But in Phoenix, there's no youth wrestling clubs. Kids have to drive to Chandler and Mesa and Peoria. That's why Arcadia Youth Wrestling Club (a non-profit 501c3) was formed. We want our kids to be able to wrestle before they get to high school (when other kids have been wrestling for years by then), and to have the opportunity to grow up on the mats!

We're raising money for mats and to pay our coach, Ray Waters (one of the best wrestling coaches we've ever seen), enough to give our children the time we know they deserve.

Our club is hosted at 16th st and Camelback, in downtown Phoenix, at Pro Edge Boxing, but we need more mats for our kids to have the space they really need to thrive. In addition to mats and paying coaches, donations will also go to help cover the cost of youth USA Wrestling Cards and travel, so kids can compete and get the full experience of being a wrestler.
