Her dad was rushed to the hospital and spent weeks in the ICU, undergoing intense surgery and treatment. While he continues to fight for his life, his sweet cat Pam was at home — and she began to suffer too.
Out of stress, grief, and confusion without her dad, Pam stopped eating. Days turned into weeks, and her health declined rapidly. She has now developed a life-threatening condition called hepatic lipidosis (fatty liver disease) — something that happens when cats go too long without food.
Pam now urgently needs emergency veterinary care and a feeding tube to survive.
To keep her alive while we try to raise the funds for surgery, I’ve been syringe-feeding her every few hours. It’s exhausting, delicate, and only a temporary solution. She deserves a real chance at recovery.
