Hi my name is Laque Styles proud owner of Total Image Hair Salon and founder of An Extended Reach Adult and Youth Training Inc. I grew up in Milwaukee Wisconsin where I witness so much gun violence and car deaths. In year 2020 my neice was hit by a speeding car with other little children in there as the drivers. She died on the scene. Later in the months I lost my mom due to a broken heart and months later my lil cousin was murder. It didn’t stop. There has been tragedy after tragedy concerning our youth in our community. We know that pain has a purpose so my team and I decided not to complain and thought about what to do to help change things around us. We may can’t save the world but we can help save the community around us, even if it’s one child at a time. So in 2022 we started a non profit aiming to help decrease violence and reckless driving. We can do this with your help. We are dedicated to empower and supporting our youth and adults through transformation programs, mentorship, and neighborhood initiatives, workshops, and bootcamps. Our vision is to create a safe space, foster positive relationships, and provide tools and opportunities for young people and adults to pursue their fullest potential. An extended reach trading have grown from a small community initiative and is growing more and more each day. We do back pack give Away from the trunk of our cars cause we don’t believe in making excuses. We set up tables and chairs outside in local community parks to do free haircuts. We go house to house offering our mentorship. With these funds you will be helping us provide a place to cultivate a culture of mentorship, collaboration, and lifelong learning. We are committed to inspiring individuals of all ages to overcome challenges, build purposeful connections, and contribute positively to society. We offer different programs to support our vision. And we believe our program will help build confidence and embrace personal development. We believe in the power of collaboration and work closely with local leaders, organizations, and families to create a supportive network that encourages positive change.
