American River Alano

American River Alano located in the Downtown Orangevale Plaza at 9346 Greenback Lane, has been helping members of our community for well over 20 years. They are a nonprofit organization and rely solely on donations. Their work is pivotal in assisting members to overcome addictions and regain life. They are in financial need, and we believe that if the community rallies together, we can help them keep their doors open. If they must shut their doors, Orangevale and surrounding areas will be affected. The Alano has over 3500 people come through their doors each month. Many people are struggling and putting in the work to better themselves.

There is a stigma surrounding AA and NA meeting places. But let's take a step back and see the much larger picture. We’d see that many people struggling with addiction are everyday people, business owners, someone’s mother or father, sister or brother, child, your neighbor, the person you see every day and would otherwise have no idea of their battles.

We hope that we can come together as a community and support their goal of helping others and help them stay open to continue their work. If you cannot help financially, please help share this fundraiser. Their website will be getting an upgrade that will allow us to sponsor members or donate in general. You can become a member for $100 a year. Imagine if we all pulled together and donated how many people we could help.
