American Legion Post 416 in Encinitas, California, has proudly served veterans, youth, and families since 1930. Known as "The Post by the Coast," it's one of the first American Legion posts in all California and a vital part of our community.
During COVID-19. we faced an impossible choice.......close our doors or take a $85,000 SBA loan to survive. That loan kept us going but now prevents us from fully focusing on what matters most; serving veterans and our community.
We're asking for your help to raise $85,000 to retire this loan so every future dollar can once again support our mission and programs, not debt.
Post 416 proudly sponsors five Boy Scout troops, two Cub Scout packs, American Legion Baseball, Boys and Girls State, Toys for Tots, food drives for military families in need, and patriotic ceremonies on Memorial Day, 4th of July, Veterans Day, Pearl Harbor Day, and numerous others.
Our Post isn't just a building, it's a symbol of service, sacrifice, and hope. Your donation will directly help veterans in need, strengthen youth programs, and keep this historic Post alive for generations to come.
As a token of our gratitude, each donor will receive one of our new, custom, unique, and collectable Post 416 challenge coins.
