Hi everyone! I’m captaining one of three dance teams who are thrilled to be participating in this year’s Immigrant Impact Awards hosted by the American Immigration Council on June 19th. This celebration honors the strength, creativity, and contributions of immigrant communities across the country—and this year, we’re dancing for a purpose. We’re raising funds for the American Immigration Council, an organization that works every day to build a fairer, more humane immigration system. They provide critical legal support, empower immigrant families, uplift immigrant storytellers, and fight for policies that reflect our nation’s values of dignity and opportunity.
