Little bit about Poorna:
Poorna is “THE YOUNGEST GIRL TO CLIMB MOUNT EVEREST”
On 25th May 2014, POORNA MALAVATH scaled the highest peak of Mount Everest and, aged 13 years and 11 months became the youngest girl in the world to have reached the summit.
It is a proud moment for all that a young girl from a remote rural village in India made it to the top of the World!
After climbing Mount Everest, Poorna decided to climb all the 7 highest peaks of the World!
So far, Poorna has climbed 5 of 7 peaks of the World!
Poorna was born in a small village (in Nizamabad district of Telangana state of India). You can learn more about her inspiring life, if you watch bollywood movie named POORNA (2017) made on her life story, directed by Rahul Bose, which is available on Amazon Prime.
This campaign is to raise funds for her next expedition to Antarctica. This opportunity is incredibly exciting for Poorna. This will be another milestone in the life of a young rural girl coming from humble background who aspires to show to the world that, if you believe in yourself, you can achieve anything.

Equipment Costs: $9,000
Insurance Costs: $3,600
Flight to Chile: $2,100
Miscellaneous Costs: $1,000
