Amazing Surf Adventures

I am participating in the 4x4x48 challenge for charity! That entails me running 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours beginning on Friday March 5th- Sunday March 7th!! I will be raising money to benefit Amazing Surf Adventures. Any donation will help make an impact!

I came across the documentary “Resurface” on Netflix about a year ago, and it really touched my heart watching volunteers help veterans overcome their physical & emotional challenges to learn how to surf. It was an absolute inspiration watching these men & women suit up and paddle out no matter the difficulties they faced.

When David Goggins announced this 4x4x48 challenge, I knew I wanted to participate instantly!! I want to challenge myself and am happy to fundraise for this great cause!! Any contributions that can be made are truly appreciated!!

The Bullock Family & Friends is in it's 6th YEAR supporting Operation Surf Santa Cruz  taking place this April 13 - 19, 2020.  I have been profoundly moved by this organization over the past five years now as a volunteer and sponsor, and want to continue the momentum again this year.

Operation Surf is held in support of the men and women whom have sacrificed so much to protect our freedom. Severely wounded active duty and veteran service members from various branches of the U.S. military who served in Afghanistan and Iraq will take part in an epic, life-changing experience at beaches across the Santa Cruz coast. Through the healing power of the ocean and surfing, these wounded heroes, to whom we owe so much, will overcome challenges and build a new understanding of their personal potential. The funds raised help support the epic life-changing adventure for our wounded active duty military heroes in a week of surfing and healing.  This includes transportation, lodging, meals and specialty items such as beach wheelchairs and custom surfing prosthetics. 

This year we have committed to the BRONZE SPONSORSHIP and plan to raise $2500 or more, so let's do it!!  We will be raising funds until March 6th and would be ecstatic if you, our family and friends, could help reach this goal and beyond!  

Also, please contact me if you are interested in volunteering or getting involved this year for the Santa Cruz event. It means so much to be able to contribute to a worthy cause together.

"How can we make a difference?"

Greetings! As part of my March Birthday Month goal, I have started a NEW campaign on behalf of The Bullock Family & Friends in support of the upcoming Operation Surf Santa Cruz event taking place March 30-April 5, 2017. I have been profoundly moved by this organization as a volunteer and sponsor over the last two years and want to do even more this year.

Operation Surf is held in support of the men and women whom have sacrificed so much to protect our freedom. Severely wounded active duty and veteran service members from various branches of the U.S. military who served in Afghanistan and Iraq will take part in an epic, life-changing experience at beaches across the Santa Cruz coast. Through the healing power of the ocean and surfing, these wounded heroes, to whom we owe so much, will overcome challenges and build a new understanding of their personal potential. Last year, we surpassed our fundraising goal of $1500. A new goal is set for $2700 this year. Let's do this!
