Black Lives Matter Virtual Fundraiser Concert
Hello everyone, a group of musicians and I have come together to create an online performance that will be premiered on YouTube on July 25th, 7:30 pm EST. People from all over the world have collaborated together, creating something that will hopefully help raise funds and awareness for the black lives matter movement. The concert link will be posted closer to the concert date.
We hope that watching this concert will encourage people to join us in making a difference!
All donations will benefit the Amadou Diallo Foundation Inc, and any amount or share will help make an impact. I chose this foundation for the meaningful story behind it. Amadou Diallo was shot 41 times, and killed instantly by 4 plainclothes policemen in 1999, just because he "looked suspicious". He was only 23 years old. A few years later, his mother created this foundation to help provide educational guidance for young black students.
