Running For a Cure
Anyone whose life has been personally impacted by Alzheimers Disease understands what a devastating, costly, and horrible disease it is. You helplessly watch, on the sidelines, as the person you love slips away, deteriorates, and slowly dies everyday. Even with scientific and medical advances, there is still no cure or way of slowing down the effects of Alzheimers.
I will be running the Rogue Yeti Run on May 23, 2014 (my birthday!) in Whitesburg, GA to help raise money for the Georgia Chapter of the Alzheimers Association. These donations will fund future research to help one day prevent and ultimately find a cure to this devastating disease.

This is a 12 hour race, where each runner completes a 5 mile loop as many times as they can in the allotted 12 hour time period. To help motivate me, I am asking that donors "Run With Me" and donate for each lap that I complete. My goal is to complete 10 laps, or 50 miles.
All donations will be made in the honor of my mother, Barbara Watters.
