We are a small volunteer group that focuses on rescuing and re-homing herding dogs, which include Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, Rough Collies, Corgis and mixes of these breeds. We occasionally rescue a non-herding breed. Our first priority is pulling dogs from shelters since their time is very limited. Our dogs are fully vetted and kept in foster homes where they receive loving care, behavior evaluations, and basic training. We strive to find the best possible new home for them.

<div>Almost Home Herding Dog Rescue pulled Beatrice from a North Carolina shelter. She underwent heart worm treatment, but she also needs FHO surgery on both hips. The cost of each hip is approximately $3,000. Her first surgery is scheduled on March 4th, 2025 which is tomorrow! We could really use some help covering the costs. She is worth it!
