Almost Heaven Golden Retriever Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc.

I'm raising money to benefit Almost Heaven Golden Retriever Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc. in West Virginia, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

On 11/23/21 Carol, the founder and director of AHGRR was in a serious vehicle accident while on her way to the vet. The rescue's vehicle was totaled, and Carol was very seriously injured in the accident and was airlifted to a trauma center in VA. She has multiple broken bones and internal injuries and her road to recovery will be a long one. Currently, the rescue's kennel tech is physically staying at the rescue 24/7 to care for the dogs. The dogs know him and he is able to handle their care.

Donations are needed to cover paying for help at the rescue & for a VEHICLE to use to take dogs to and from rescue's vet, which is over an hour away. A decent used 4WD or AWD vehicle is needed to navigate the mountain roads in WV. If anyone has a vehicle to DONATE, that would be great too!

More information about Almost Heaven Golden Retriever Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc.: We are a dog rescue that handles the dogs that others leave behind - the old, the sick, the ones with "issues". We rehab these dogs to be adoptable, be therapy dogs, or to live out their lives with us at our Sanctuary. These dogs are rescued from high kill shelters and from owners who no longer want them or can care for them.
