Alliance for Equity in Montessori Education (LCMCS PTO)

The Alliance for Equity in Montessori Education (AEME) is ready to open a new tuition-free Montessori preschool—made possible through the generosity of local businesses and community members. We have a proven model, experienced leadership, and strong community demand. With donor partnership, this moment of readiness becomes a vibrant new preschool that serves children and strengthens our community for years to come.

In September 2026, we will open Hartley Montessori School, which will be co-located at Hartley Elementary School right in your community. 100% free of cost to families. Your donation will help us create a classroom where children can explore, learn, and thrive. Your donation will be used to purchase:

Fencing to keep our students safe in their outdoor play area

Outdoor play items

Books, art materials and classroom supplies

Montessori educational materials

Class furniture

Supplies to create a cozy reading corner

Help us cover the cost for space improvements. Replace toilets and sinks with ones which are sized for little kids and fresh paint for our walls.

This new free preschool creates meaningful opportunities for families by providing reliable, full-day early education, reduced financial stress during critical early years, and a welcoming school community grounded in partnership where families are supported and empowered.
