Hi, my name is Jet, and I am fundraising for All Hands and Hearts. I was born in Louisiana 16 years ago during Hurricane Katrina. A large thanks was to the fundraiser donators helping us out or else god knows where I'd be right now. As we know, Hurricane Ida has put states, cities, homes, and people into financial distress. The ones in need of support are receiving the attention they need, but of course no major recovery is as swift as we desire. I want to assist the ones now in trouble as a way of giving back to the community, so if you see this, please consider lending a hand to this fundraiser or another one that's supporting Hurricane Ida recovery! Hearts for Hurricane Ida
The name of the fundraiser is "Hearts for Hurricane Ida". The creators of the fundraiser are: Amy Stalcup, Catalina Agudelo, Sarah Lee Kendall, Sherell Slaise, and Sharon B Johnson. We are the Paradigm Shifters!

We are committed to creating a world of connection, love, and commitment. The purpose is to raise money for the victims in Louisiana who have suffered the loss of their homes.

The funds we raise will directly go to All hands and Hearts to support the hardest-hit areas where there is the greatest need, deploying chainsaw, muck and gut, and tarping teams to assist the local community.

Here is some information on the damage caused by Hurricane Ida on September 1, 2021. "Ida slammed into the northeastern area of the United States with record-breaking rainfall causing historic flood levels in New York and in New Jersey. Its wind speeds exceeded 150 mph and were sustained for a total of 6 hours. This was twice the duration of the 125 mph sustained winds of Hurricane Katrina. There are over 2 million people who live in the affected area, over 18,000 people have already filed for federal aid. According to Power Outage, as of this week, about 405,000 customers in Louisiana remain without power. Fallen trees and debris litter the streets across Ida’s path. Homes are missing parts of their roofs, fallen trees lie on homes and roads, and some of the most devastated areas are still flooded and remain impassable. By creating this fundraiser, we hope to bring blessings, support, and love to these families and victims. Our goal is to raise at least $1,000 (USD) by September 8, 1 pm PST. You are more than welcome to continue to donate after Sep 8, 1 pm PST. This fundraiser will be ending in a week (09/15/2021, 11:59 pm PST). TAoG is a holiday toy drive and fundraiser to help those less fortunate during the Holiday Season.
We have partnered with All Hands and Hearts and Petra Nemcova to help as many people as possible. 100% of all proceeds from tickets, tables, donations and auction items will be used to help those affected by recent hurricanes Irma and Maria. All toys collected will be distributed locally in the New York area. Thank you to FJM Ferro and JDS Development for underwriting expenses to make this possible. Special Thanks to Joseph Krutel for being the MVP in making many things possible that otherwise would not be while planning this!
Our goal is to raise over $100,000 to this cause through our peers and business relationships while celebrating the wonderful Holiday Season! (We are currently over halfway there and will keep this page updated with our progress!)
While a big part of these funds will be raised through the event, we wanted to give others a chance to donate and be a part if helping the USVIs and Puerto Rico through our mission. Please donate what you are comfortable with and share to others who may be interested in being a part of this. Anything donated here will be added to the overall goal of the initiative.

Dear Friends,
Please support our trip to Texas and our donation campaign to help raise money and awareness for victims in Texas, Puerto Rico, Florida, and the Islands that were affected by Hurricane Harvey and Irma . It will take years of continued financial aid, volunteers needed, and physical donations made to support the recovery efforts. We hope our upcoming trip helps in some meaningful way!

On October 25th, I will be driving a Penske truck down to Houston to volunteer with my good friend Gail Clifford-McClean from Brighton, Michigan and another good friend, Lisa Stoeffel from Montclair,NJ. Our goal is to fill the truck with physical donations from our neighbors in Montclair. Gail will be collecting gift cards in Brighton. While in Houston, we will all serve as active, hands on volunteers rebuilding a home that has been devastated by the flooding. Our Go Fund Me page will help us raise money to supply gift cards to distribute to families in Texas and will also direct funds to our chosen charity "All Hands Volunteering" that is helping in the rebuilding process going on in Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico, USVI, and Florida. Hey everyone! We are Houston residents from the University of Miami School of Law. We have decided to spearhead a Hurricane Harvey relief donation drive here at the U attempting to help Houston in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. There are millions of Houstonians, including our own friends and family, that are devastated by this storm and the floods. Anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated!

We will be making monetary donations to All Hands Volunteers & the Houston Humane Society . If you would like your donation to go to a specific charity instead of beng evenly split between both, then please be sure to post which organization in the comments when you make the donation.

Support Latinos On The Rise USA Vital Work

Help Earthquake Victims in Colombia and Venezuela

My name is Joanny Nin Mojica. I am the founder of Latinos On The Rising USA, a community organization based in Tampa, Florida, supported by AMGUS—American Multinational Group, LLC.

We are raising funds to provide humanitarian assistance to people affected by two devastating disasters:

The June 24, 2026 earthquakes in Venezuela, which had magnitudes of 7.2 and 7.5.

The August 10, 2026 magnitude 7.4 earthquake in western Colombia, which severely affected Pereira and other communities.

Our relationship with the recipients is humanitarian and community-based. We are not claiming that every recipient is a relative or personally known to us. Latinos On The Rising USA serves and advocates for Latino communities and is organizing this campaign to help verified earthquake victims in both countries.

Latinos On The Rising USA will receive and administer the donations. Funds will be allocated between Colombia and Venezuela according to verified needs, accessibility and our ability to deliver assistance safely.

Donations will be used for:

Food and clean drinking water.

Hygiene products, clothing and essential supplies.

Temporary shelter and emergency housing assistance.

Medical and recovery supplies.

Transportation, purchasing and delivery costs directly related to relief assistance.

Direct emergency assistance to verified affected families when properly documented.

Whenever practical, payments will be made directly to verified vendors, shelters, relief providers or community organizations. Any direct assistance to families will be documented. We will maintain available receipts, payment records and delivery documentation and publish GoFundMe updates describing how the money was used in each country.

Funds will not be used for the personal benefit or compensation of the organizer, AMGUS employees or campaign promoters. If circumstances require a material change in the distribution or use of the remaining funds, we will disclose that change through a campaign update.

Latinos On The Rising USA is administering this fundraiser. Donations should not be represented as tax-deductible unless the organization’s federal tax-exempt status is independently confirmed.

Every donation can bring food, safety, dignity and hope to families rebuilding their lives. If you cannot contribute financially, please share this campaign.
