Ale Brook Rescue Corporation

On the night of October 19, one of our own rescue dogs Pookie took a bad fall and broke his front leg. He was rushed to the emergency hospital, where he was stabilized and splinted. He’ll need follow up x-rays and continued care, and if the bone doesn’t heal properly, he may even require surgery to repair it.

I run Ale Brook Rescue, a small nonprofit based out of Ale Brook Farms in Marlboro, NJ. We’re not only a rescue, we’re also a sanctuary, providing animals a forever home when they can’t be adopted. From dogs and cats to sheep, ducks, pigs, and other farm animals, we care for them all and make sure each one has a safe, loving place for life.

This emergency came at a difficult time, we’re still paying off two recent medical emergencies for Lilly and Pumpkin, both of whom needed urgent care. Between those bills and this new injury, our funds are stretched thin.

Any donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward his medical care, pain management, and recovery and will help us keep caring for all the animals who call Ale Brook Rescue home.
