Alameda Meals on Wheels delivers hot nourishing meals to Alameda residents 7 days/week.  We deliver meals to people of all ages and incomes who are housebound, recovering from an illness or surgery, or not able to cook for themselves.  In addition, our volunteers provide a daily check in and friendly smile to many in our community who are isolated.
We also have a Friendly Visitor program where volunteers visit residents weekly for conversation and companionship.
