The People's Justice Council (The PJC) functions as the umbrella for the Alabama Interfaith Power and Light (ALIPL). The PJC focuses on environmental justice from a faith perspective. We provide tools to communities to build power from the grassroots up. We do this through education and advocacy. Working as an interdisciplinary group we provide workshops, training, and consultation on issues of environmental racism and environmental injustice from an ecological perspective.
