Make a Significant Impact in Countering Atheism
SYNOPSIS:
The Quran not only presents the articles of faith from the unseen but also provides undeniable proof from our physical world. However, these proofs about the Oneness of God, Prophets, and the Hereafter have generally remained undiscussed. In the present age of Atheism, it has become essential to delve into these proofs with detailed explanations and commentaries. "Story of Man" is an ambitious endeavor to fulfill this crucial need. In today's times, only a documentary that presents events in a story-based and dramatic manner gains acceptance from the public. Fortunately, the events of the prophets and their lives, as presented in the Holy Quran, fulfill this requirement.
This Documentary will be a drama-type presentation, narrating the logical arguments from the Quran that establish the unity of God, Prophethood, and the Hereafter.
BACKGROUND:
The inspiration for this Documentary originates from the globally renowned television series "Cosmos: A Personal Voyage," written by Carl Sagan. The Author and Anchor of this Documentary watched it on PTV in 1988 when he was young. It was also the year he started reading the glorious Quran with its translation for the first time. Subsequently, from 1997 to 2013, the Author meticulously worked on the glorious Quran, determining the proofs of the oneness of God and the Hereafter in detail. This research was conducted to explain the true essence of the Quran under the guidance of the esteemed teacher, Javed Ahmad Ghamdi, and other leading scholars of the Farahi School of thought.
The Author first expressed the intention to create this Documentary in his third book, "Teesri Roshni (Third Light)," back in 2013. However, due to limited resources, the project remained pending until 2020. In 2020, after obtaining approval from the Board of 'Inzaar,' the Author discussed this idea with Ahmad Bashir Tahir, who assured full cooperation. Thanks to his efforts, the pilot episode of this Documentary was presented to the public in March 2022.
In 2023, the Ghamidi Center of Islamic Learning, an initiative of Al-Mawrid United States, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Inzar, forming a partnership to support this endeavor.
