We are reaching out to invite you to support Akron Community Studios, a non-profit organization providing free photography workshops and media production skills training for students in financially disadvantaged school districts or family situations. Your generous contribution can help those who would not otherwise have access to camera equipment, studio facilities and media editing software. Through workshops, mentoring and hands-on content creation focused on other Akron area non-profits, this program allows aspiring media students to develop personally and professionally, boosting their chance of success in the media business and in life.
Donations will directly support Akron Community Studios in the following ways:
- Providing essential editing software and supplies for free media production workshops.
- Ensuring free access to creative spaces and connectivity for media students to develop their skills in writing, communications and media production.
- Giving students opportunities to learn from and network with industry leaders hired for coaching and training sessions.
