Help Airlift Earthquake Relief to Colombia
Airlink is working to provide free or low-cost airlift to regional partners, including search and rescue teams, to operate alongside local first responders after the devastating 7.4-magnitude earthquake that struck Colombia on Monday, August 10.
In the first 48 hours after the disaster, Airlink mobilized a search and recue team on behalf of CADENA, with flight support from Avianca Airlines. The team was able to rapidly reach the areas hardest hit by building collapses: Pereira, Cali, Manizales, and rural communities near San Jose del Palmar in Choco.
