Urgent need for a car
The AIDS Resource Council in Rome, Ga. has an urgent need and you can help. Since 2007 this 501(c) (3) organization has continued its good works with an all volunteer staff and Board. The office manager/ board member has used his old, high-mileage car on behalf of AIDS/HIV clients but the car can be patched no more. Mechanics have declared it DEAD.
Please help us raise $2,000 to buy a replacement car. Without it, we are unable to take clients to medical appointments, drug store, or other critical destinations. Without a car, we cannot deliver food and other necessities to clients.
Our clients ask for very little but the need is critical to their health and well-being. Your help is important right now if we are to assist in their most basic needs. Any amount you can send will be greatly appreciated and 100% will go to the purchase of a car.
Even better would be the contribution of an automobile if you, or someone you know, has a car no longer needed.
Please end 2017 and begin 2018 knowing you have helped people with your life-saving assistance.
