Protect the Southern Vote: The Representation Accountability Project (R.A.P.)
From Louisiana and Mississippi to Alabama and Georgia, fair voting maps are under direct threat. The historic Black communities that anchor the Deep South are facing aggressive attempts to dilute their political voice and erase their representation.
We refuse to let them be silenced.
The African American Leadership Network is proud to launch The Representation Accountability Project (R.A.P.) —a massive, urgent 6-month campaign to raise $1 million. This dedicated Southern Voting Rights Legal Defense and Education Fund is our line in the sand.
️ The Mission: Defend. Analyze. Educate.
We cannot fight this injustice without you. Your support powers a unified, non-partisan front to hold decision-makers accountable and protect constitutional rights.
Every single dollar raised goes directly toward:
Legal Defense & Analysis: Funding non-partisan legal analysis, expert testimony, and litigation to challenge unfair maps.
Map Accountability: Deploying data experts to ensure voting maps are fair, legally compliant, and equitable.
Voter Education: Launching localized public education campaigns to inform, organize, and empower historic communities across the South.
Why Your Support Matters Right Now
The boundaries drawn today will define the resources, funding, and leadership our communities receive for the next decade. This isn't just about a map—it's about the right to be heard.
Together, we ensure every historic community in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia receives the fair and equitable representation they deserve."
