AAF's mission is to advance the interests of Afghan-Americans through thought leadership, policy advocacy, and public education & engagement. Several key priorities guide our work: - Administrative Advocacy: Ensuring the long-term safety of America's Afghan allies through direct engagement with policymakers at all levels of our government. - Leadership: Ensuring Afghan-American voices are heard, respected and included in the decision-making process. Community Empowerment: Supporting all members of our community through workforce inclusion, mentorships and education. - Cultural Advocacy: Advocating for Afghan culture and identity through music, preserving traditions, narrative building and representation. - Research: Grounding our work in research for effectiveness and relevance.
