Help Support 6th Annual "More Than A Number"
Hi my name is Brenda Stewart and I'm the founder of The Addict's Parents United.
For my birthday this year, I'm asking for donations to Addicts Parents United Inc. to help cover the costs for our yearly TAP United Survivors Of Loss ~ More Than A Number Gathering ~ we host for our parents of loss yearly.
This will be our 6th Annual More Than A Number Gathering. This is a CLOSED Gathering just for our members of our Survivors Of Loss group, and a few of our members from the closed main page to help and support them.
This gathering means a lot to our parents from our closed support group Survivors Of Loss that have lost a child to this disease, and a lot to me and our organization to be able to provide them a day for THEM to honor their child for who they were, not how they passed.

This gathering is NOT a day of focusing on the pain and tragedy of those we have lost, but a day of celebrating their lives.
Those on TAP United's Survivors Of Loss Closed Support Group are a community that shares the experience of losing a child to the disease of addiction, or circumstances due to their use.
Their children were beautiful, wonderful gifts from God, who happened to be afflicted with the disease of addiction, and that disease took their life.
It is an upbeat and positive afternoon, where our parents feel supported and uplifted by the love we share in the TAP community.
We view the children lost to this disease as more than a number. We want to remember the person not the disease and support our parents of loss.
Please know this is the only fundraiser that I'm doing for my birthday, and would never reach out by messenger or other means asking for donations or gift cards.
