Support Utah Sled Hockey for Disabled Athletes
The Utah Sled Hockey Association, Inc is a member of the Adaptive Bobsled and Sports Association, Inc not for profit 501c-3 Public Charity based in Park City, Utah USA. Our mission is to help provide opportunities in Winter Sports such as Hockey, Bobsled, Luge and Skeleton to disabled athletes including but not limited to operating Utah's official Para and Amputee Sled Hockey Team. The Team will compete in Sanctioned NHL and USA Hockey events representing Utah. The Utah team is composed of injured veterans, amputees, paraplegics and those with other neurological deficits which prevent them from participating in traditional stand up hockey. USA Hockey also allows for the participation and integration of able bodied athletes on the ice and a part of the team in competition and league play which helps build community and respect for our disabled athletes. Your Tax deductible donation will assist the Utah Sled Hockey team and athletes with fees for practice ice, equipment and specially adaptive hockey sleds and gear as well as travel and lodging expenses associated with team travel. The team holds official practice at the Peaks Ice Arena in Provo, the Maverick Ice center and Park City Arena. Your partnership and participation in our fundraiser would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
