"Following the 2016 election, the fight for voting rights remains as critical as ever. Politicians across the nation continue to engage in voter suppression, efforts to stop citizens from exercising their sacred right to vote."

The FundraiserFrom September 14 to October 10, I will be running or walking at least one mile per day (for a total of 26.2 miles or the length of a marathon!) as a part of the Ann Arbor Marathon Challenge. As I celebrate my journey back to running with all of you, I am also raising money for the ACLU of Georgia , in support of all of the work they do to end voter suppression and to preserve and expand the civil liberties that all people in the US deserve.
Fundraising GoalMy goal is to raise at least $2622 for the 26.22 miles I will be covering over the course of the challenging.
To everyone who contributes at least $5, I will send a thank you card in the mail via USPS.
For every donation at least $100, I will dedicate a mile in honor of someone of the donor's choice.
World Mental Health DayThe Ann Arbor Marathon Challenge concludes on October 10, World Mental Health Day. The run is supporting a variety of charities that are committed to ending stigmas about mental health. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with a therapist throughout my injury and surgery recovery, and I recognize that not everyone has access to adequate mental health care. Voting in the upcoming election is fundamental to support local, state, and national level initiatives to improve mental health support and healthcare, more broadly.
Thank You!Thank you in advance for your contribution to support the ACLU of Georgia in their efforts to enhance the rights of all in the Peach State without political partisanship. Your support means a lot!

Thank you! ¡Muchas gracias! Muito obrigada!
