Ajay's Memorial Fund
Ajay was battling cancer for a few months now. While he was on the road to recovery, it took a sudden turn towards worse from which he was not able to recover.
Ajay grew up in Mumbai (then Bombay) and loved the city, and had wonderful memories of his childhood and time spent with family and friends. Ajay
was a doting father and spent every minute being with them - making their favorite meals, driving them to swimming/other activities, taking them on hikes, playing board/card games with them, and basically doing everything that they wished, only to bring a smile on their faces. Keeping the family together meant a lot for him.
Keeping these in mind, we have set up a fund in Ajay's memory at Access Life America. This organization works at the grass-root level to cater a huge unmet need of providing safe and clean atmosphere to children and their families who travel to Mumbai from remote towns and villages for cancer treatment. It not only provides a home for the pediatric patients and their families far away from home, it also provides fun, safe, and healing environment for the kids.
Ajay's brother, Uday, has volunteered for this organization in the past and has had personal on the ground experience in seeing the positive impact this organization makes on families going through the most challenging time of their lives.
The family requests donations be made to Access Life America in memory of Ajay. Thanks in advance for your support, it means a lot to Ajay's family.
