Laura Giannini Arrington is fundraising

Laura's campaign for Abeona House
We are raising money to send Abeona House teachers and administrators to the National Reggio Emilia Conference in Atlanta from June 27-29, and any donation will help make an impact.
Our mission:
Abeona House Child Discovery Center provides exceptional childcare and early childhood education to children ages six weeks to five years. A non-profit childcare center inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we serve families in the Greater New Orleans area from diverse backgrounds with joy, equity, and love.

More about what your donation will support:
Although we were able to raise about $1830.00 with our center spring photos, we still need to raise a bit more to cover expenses for transportation, lodging and meals for the trip. This incredibly valuable trip will allow us to collaborate with educators from around the country and teach us new ways to incorporate Reggio Emilia in our classrooms in advance of the 2019/2020 school year, and allow us to incorporate our learning into our professional development week.
Cost Break Down
Cost of attendance to conference for 4 teachers $2100
Membership and dues for 4 teachers $290
Two hotel rooms $1,192
Meal stipend $30 a day/ 5 days for 4 including travel $600
Rental Car/ Gas $380/$140
Total cost for 4 people- $4702
Fundraiser total -$1830
Amount still needed $2872
