Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit A Lotta Love, Inc, and any donation will help make an impact. A Lotta Love is an all-volunteer 501 C3 Non-Profit Organization working to alleviate the trauma of homelessness by creating safe, dignified, and emotionally inspiring spaces at shelters in North Carolina. I founded this organization 7 years ago and we are now serving around 20 shelters across the state. In my opinion, shelters should not look and feel depressing, institutional, or prison-like. ALL children and their parents moving into a homeless shelter, or fleeing domestic abuse, should have a pillow to sleep on at night. We turn a bare room into a home with everything the family needs to feel safe and respected. New bedding, furnishings, lamps, bathroom items, decor, and more. When the family moves on, the room comes with them as a starter kit. For every $500 donated we can give a family the feeling of a safe home at a shelter.
