My name is Kaput and I am a rescue kitty. I was found as a stray with a broken pelvis and it hurt a lot but thanks to the care of the foster that took me in it’s healing and I am feeling better. Even though the bones are healing, they are misaligned. The vet says I will probably need surgery to relieve the pain I feel when I walk. Then one day my neck was leaking fluid, and my foster caregiver took me to the vet right away. I have an abscess and they still can’t find the cause. A specialist has now recommended exploratory surgery, preceded by a CT scan to guide the surgery. He also noted that my tail was hurt and due to lack of blood supply recommended a partial amputation. So I will need a few procedures but through it all I have been brave and still love to have some time to sit with my fosters and purr while they cuddle with me.

I hope you can help with the cost of my surgeries. I am very affectionate and love to have my head rubbed, cheeks scratched, and coat brushed. Once I’m back to good health I would make a great pet for a caring family. My doctor said that after all that is done he thinks I will be walking then running around chasing fuzzy mice and can even jump up on the bed and cuddle with my humans!
