For the Children of Strawberry Town—With Love
Hello friends~
This year, I’ve decided that every birthday, holiday, and milestone in my life will point to something bigger than me: funding the education of 20 children in a little town called San Telmo—affectionately known as Strawberry Town.
You may never walk its dirt roads or meet the children who live there, but you can shape their future!
Why Strawberry Town?

Strawberry Town is a rural village in Mexico where many families work in the fields for ten hours a day, earning just $5. In this town, education isn’t a given—it’s a luxury. The local school, El Porvenir (“The Future”), exists to offer something their parents never had: the chance to dream beyond the strawberry fields.
One story stayed with me:
A young girl shared in class that her mama cried when she wrote her name on paper. Her mother had only heard her name—never seen it before.
It reminded me that something as simple as knowing how to read and write—something I’ve taken as a basic skill my entire life—is an incredible privilege for others.
The Mission
There are 20 students I would love to to sponsor for the 2025 school year!
Here is the funding breakdown: (20 students x $300 = $6,000)
- $25 = 1 month of education
- $150 = 6 months
- $300 = full year for one child
Give whatever feels right—whether it’s one month, one year, or something in between. Every bit helps!
All donations are NOT going to the organization, but passing through to the school to pay for their education!

Why should I give?
- Because someone once gave to you! Maybe not in dollars. Maybe it was a second chance, a timely opportunity, a meal you didn’t have to pay for, or simply the benefit of being born into a place where you could learn how to write your name. This is the ripple effect of kindness: we receive, and we pass it forward.
