22KILL

On February 27, 2021 we will follow the
path the Immortal 32 took carrying the
Texas flag from Gonzales Tx to the Alamo. 
Arriving on Feb 28, 2021 at the Alamo
celebrating Texas Independence Day. 
75 miles. This is the second anniversary of this event.

The Immortal 32 was a relief force of thirty
two Texian Militia from the Gonzales
Ranging Company who reinforced the
Texians under
siege at the Alamo. They are
"immortalized"
as the only unit to answer the To the
People of Texas & All Americans in the
World letter. Along with the other Alamo
defenders, they were all killed and burned after the Battle of
the Alamo.

On February 29, 1836, the "Immortal 32"
led by George Kimbell arrived at the Alamo. At 3:00 am on March 1, under the cover of night, they slipped through Santa Anna's
lines and entered the fort. They are the
only relief force to arrive before the final
assault

Our company CM Skullies is an apparel line specializing in our patent pending design that allows you to wear any eyewear with our beanies and headbands. Nick was hit by an 80mm mortar in 2005 when he was deployed. He suffers from PTSD, leg paralysis, a perforated ear drum and battles depression. We started this business as a means to being able to ride his motorcycle safely again. Wind in his ear causes him to lose equilibrium which effects his balance while riding. Being on a motorcycle has helped Nick crawl out of his deep depression state when he first came back. We chose to make a line in order to donate back to a cause that hits close to home and wants to help as much as we do. 22kill offers programs to help veterans battling depression, and families that have lost someone to suicide through three programs. A couple years ago they launched their own challenge: 22pushup to bring awareness to veteran suicide and the amount of veterans that take their own lives each day, on average 22. Being a small population in comparison to the nation this is a staggering number. We wanted to do something of our own to help bring more awareness to the veteran suicide epidemic in our country. Nick is going to be riding his motorcycle through 22 states in 22 days. On his trip he will stop in Dallas,TX to meet with 22Kill and present our donation to them. We will have a running blog where Nick will check in to each collection stop and it will also list the stops he will be making. Our goal is to collect $22,000 for 22Kill during this journey, while bringing awareness to helping veterans. Nick will not be staying in hotels because he wants to put a strong emphasis on the struggle our nation’s combat veterans go through. Capital MMA and Elite Fitness is dedicated to raising awareness of Veteran Suicide and the adverse mental health conditions which affect many former service members. We are looking to make a difference in the lives of our brave men and women who have a given a huge piece of themselves in service to this great nation. 

This is the third year we will march and raise money for the 22Kill foundation and this year we decided to up the ante. Big time.

In addition to raising money, 100% of which will go to the 22Kill Foundation, we will be participating in the 50 Mile Go Ruck Star course.  But don't worry, you don't have to ruck 50 miles to be a part of our cause. We have some warriors lined up to do that for you.
