On August 16th, SGT Ethan Wright of HHC, 1-175 Infantry Regiment suffered a severe heat-related medical emergency during training. The incident caused life-threatening complications, and just two days later—on August 18th—he underwent an emergency liver transplant.
While it is to early to tell, the transplant has appeared to be successful, yet Ethan’s fight is far from over. He is currently under sedation and on dialysis, and his medical team continues to monitor him closely. The road to recovery will be long and uncertain, but Ethan is a fighter.
Ethan and his family are facing overwhelming challenges—to include travel expenses, and time away from work—all while trying to focus on his healing.
We are asking for your help to support SGT Wright and his loved ones through this difficult time. Every contribution—no matter the size—will go directly toward easing the financial burden and allowing his family to be by his side as he recovers.
Please consider donating and sharing this page.
Thank you for standing with Ethan and his family.
