Her Big Brown Eyes

When these baby girls were just a year old, a group of families traveled to an orphanage in Guangdong, China called Lianjiang City Social Welfare Institute, and brought these little girls into their homes. Not only were the families' lives changed forever, but each baby was given a chance to love, grow and succeed. Among the girls adopted was my little sister, Piper. Words cannot describe how much she means to my family and how much she changed our lives in the greatest ways. I constantly think about how different my sister's life is now that she is part of my family, and how so many other baby girls are stuck growing up in orphanages. Together, my sister and I have decided to help raise money and awareness for her orphanage in order to improve the quality of life for these children. These donations will go towards items for the babies, such as warm clothes, medical supplies, bottles, etc.  All items will go toward my sister's orphanage, where she spent a year of her life. Our lasting connection to her orphanage will ensure that the items will be sent directly there for the babies and caretakers. With these donations, you will benefit the lives of hundreds of little girls at Lianjinag City Social Welfare Institute.
