Chariots for Chiweenies

The Bella Foundation  SPCA and Safe Haven Animal Rescue are working together to change the lives of 5 adult Cheweenies born without front legs.  Rescued on 6/29/16 from their owner who is no longer able to care for them, these little heart stealers get around amazingly.  While they were being bred for this genetic defect, all the dogs seem healthy and have fierce determination to overcome their disability.  As wonderfully spirited as they are, walking on their hind quarters incorporates strain on both their hips and spine.  Being a breed with a longer body there are already existing health concerns.  Providing these dogs with wheels will not only improve overall health and life expectancy but will allow them to run and play without limitation.  It will put a new spin on life! 

Front wheel carts are made to the individual dog's measurements and handcrafted to ensure longevity.  We are excited to offer the fabulous five an opportunity to burn a little rubber but we need your help.  Please help us get this amazing family rolling by making a donation towards their front wheel carts.  Be a part of the ride of their lifetime!
