Changzhi/Yulin Meat Truck Rescue

And here we go again.
YULIN 2018
On the 18th of June 2018 a meat truck was intercepted in Changzhi, Shanxi Province, China. Heading to the Yulin Dog Meat Festival.
Almost 300 dogs on board.
First response teams arrived on the scene and administered emergency medical aid.
Members of the Karuna Team arrived onsite Monday July 2nd.
We have now transported over 50 dogs to Shenzhen, and they are fighting for their lives in vet clinics. They are suffering from distemper, parvo and corona virus. They are malnourished, traumatized and beaten. Since arrival we have lost a few, due to the critical condition they are in.
We are fighting a battle to keep them alive, and of course pay the vet bills.
We call for urgent support and help.
