True love happens between two individuals and requires: commitment, patience, effort, connection, honesty, trust, forgiveness, tenderness, etc.
I'm Garrett Jonsson and this is my amazing family: Arial (Wife and Mom), Rev (3 years old son) and Zae (18 months old girl). We see pornography as a HUGE societal issue and we believe we've only seen the tip of the iceburg. Together, we want to be Deliberately Disruptive. We feel a need to Deliberately Disrupt the destructive patterns caused by pornography.
That's why we've set out on this journey (I say 'we' because I wouldn't have done this without the support of my family. Although it's true that they aren't physically with me as I journey, they are close to my heart and giving me much needed support as I venture Coast2Coast). The journey will be referred to as: Coast2CoastInChains.
During this journey our goal is two part:
1- Build AWARENESS.
2- CHANGE THE CONVERSATION.
I will be cycling from Yorktown, VA to San Fran, CA (over 3,700 miles) while wearing chains which represent the heaviness of addiction and recovery. I begin 4/7/16 and it'll take me approximately 75 days.
As I venture from Coast2Coast, I will not be able to provide for my family financially. If you're able, please join us in the fight by making a small donation (what ever you can afford).
WHERE WILL YOUR DONATION GO?
- TO SUPPORT MY FAMILY FOR THE NEXT FEW MONTHS: BUY FOOD, PAY MORTAGE, ETC ($3,500/ month x 2.5 months = $8,750).
- TO COVER COSTS/ DEBT ASSOCIATED WITH THE PROJECT ($4,000).
