Chance of A Lifetime Inc.

Chance of a Lifetime, Inc. is a non-profit agency providing mentoring programs for middle and high school youth in the greater Lawrenceville, Illinois area and surrounding states. The program will partnership with local and non-residential school districts and juvenile court systems. Chance of a Lifetime, Inc. goal is to foster a commitment to young men to promote pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills and reassert a sense of hope in the future. Only through personal relationships can a sense of individual responsibility be re-established that will give youth commitment to follow through on the path to adulthood with a sense of pride and accomplishment. Through repeated failures in the classroom and development of destructive habits, at risk young men lost faith in the possibilities that await if they are successful in putting their lives together. To accomplish this goal young men must be in a caring, inclusive learning environment that promotes their best effort and reinforces personal respect.

Chance of Lifetime, Inc. is a program that is direct response to the growing number  of youth that are either falling through the cracks at school or already entangled with juvenile court systems. The goal of this program is to identify youths who are going to have a turbulent transition to adulthood and offer positive support systems to avoid the pitfalls that can derail their lives. The focus is slightly different at each level, but the goal is to succeed.

This funding campaign is to begin the building rehab and preparation for opening. We have set an opening goal of Spring 2016. 

It has been a lifelong desire to help build better, stronger, smarter and healthier men. Seeing the effects society and the family breakdown has had on our young men pushes us to do something to make a difference. This is that something.
