Dad's medical costs (Lyle Williams)

Donation protected

Life is full of surprises, one day you are hanging out, working, doing all the things you normally would do, but then something unexpected happens. Cancer. Cancer has happened to my family.
My father Lyle Williams was just living life, and then began having problems eating, within a couple months he couldn't eat at all and was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer. He has already lost a lot of weight and the diagnosis isn't good. He has a long road ahead of him, a fight that is going to take everything he has but he is a very strong man so I have no doubt he will overcome this.
His battle has already started with chemo and radiation and a feeding tube, he can't eat or drink anything by mouth which is one of the worst things I could imagine having to go through. Lots of medication and all the chemo has made him very sick and basically stuck in bed 90% of the time. This past week he was in the hospital because of an infection near his tube and pneumonia, he is now home with my mom who is putting everything she has into his recovery as well. He has to have a hospital bed and lots of nurses in and out of the house.
Those of you that know my dad, Lyle from growing up in Apalachin, racing at Shangrila, 5 mile point, Thunder mountain and all the other local tracks, from hunting, drinking a beer with him in the garage and fixing your vehicles, know he would never ask for help himself and neither would my mom. They are hardworking and have always done everything they could to have what they need.
But my family needs help.  We would be more grateful than you could ever imagine if he was able to get some help to fund this battle. There are so many medical supplies and copays that insurance doesn't cover and house hold bills that are going to be a struggle to pay because of my dad not being able to work.
I am hoping the community that all knows him and the racing community he used to be a huge part of will come together and help us get through this.
Since the battle has already begun and the bills are already stacking up, if you can make a donation right away that would would be the best.
Once chemo and radiation are done, Lyle will have to travel to Buffalo again for surgery where they will be removing part of his esophagus and stomach, unless they think he needs more chemo and radiation. Please keep him and our family in your thoughts.
My dad may not be the most vocal guy about his emotions but I know he cares for all of us a great deal and he's not ready to leave my mom or any of his 6 crazy grandkids just yet. He is going to fight this battle and win.
Thank you all in advance for any help.
