Lexi's Transition

Hey everybody. I super duper appreciate the support that was thrown my way when I moved. Now, though, another hiccup has come up.
My testosterone levels aren't going down at all. They're still sitting at just below normal cis male levels. Even though I'm currently on almost every t-blocker that is covered by my insurance, it won't drop. That means I'm going to have to schedule an orchiectomy, but most places that perform this surgery for trans women only do so as a cosmetic surgery, so they do not take insurance. my insurance plan does cover a portion of any out-of-network surgeries related to trans health, including orchiectomies, but i will still need the cash up front to be able to pay for the procedure before I can ask the insurance company for a reimbursement. Time is of the essence here, since the longer I go without being able to get my testosterone down, the harder and less effective my transition will be.
I appreciate all of the support everybody has shown me so far, and I don't expect anybody to help more than they already have. But if you all could share this link to spread awareness of my need, I would really, really, really appreciate it.
