Over the last few months there has been an overwhelming out pour of love and compassion towards Mom. Stories from family, friends, and friends of friends of how she touched each and every one of us in some sort of way. Mom and Dad's 50th Wedding Anniversary is on August 31st and Mom's Birthday is September 19th. Her wish was to take her Grandchildren to Hawaii for the 50th, but her destiny had already been chosen. Since Mom wasn't permitted to travel once the cancer had spread, Beck and I were planning a surprise 50th party for immediate friends and family of Mom and Dad in San Diego. Well, that little gathering  has now turned into a Celebration of Life and will far exceed what we had planned and budgeted for. Becky and I have lots of friends and they were all close to Mom and Dad so we want to move forward with a huge bash celebrating what she meant to all of us. Any of you that know the Esparza's also know that we love to have gatherings and party with friends. Mom said before she passed that we should celebrate when she's gone and not mourn once she is laid to rest. We have created this page to help celebrate Mom and all who have been fortunate enough to have loved and been loved by her.

The Celebration will be held at Marina Village in San Diego early October(date pending). We have moved this to October because Mom being German was a huge Octoberfest fan. We have our sights set on a 350 capacity room for 5 hours, frothy libations, liquor, hors d oeuvres, soft drinks, DJ, and lots of laughs and good times! 

Any donation you CHOOSE to make will go towards this party and, if there is extra, will be given to Dad to help him out with getting Mom's things in order.

P.S. Moose(Matt McGrane) promised Mom that he would take "Brad" out of retirement just for her. He will be making one last appearance on the dance floor ;-)
