Support for Karmin and her family

Official Fundraising Account for Karmin's Celebration of Life & continued support for the children

"Live well, laugh often, love much."  That sums up the Karmin we know and will remember as an example to carry forth her spirit.  She will be remembered as a survivor who has gone through hell and back with life's hard knocks, but never gave up and never stopped being optimistic.  Some of you knew her 20 years ago...some of you knew her recently, but every person she met was touched by her joyful spirit and open heart.  While her body is in this unresponsive life-support medical state waiting for final passage, her spirit surrounds us and we can be comforted knowing now it is our turn to help support Billy, Jacob, Sarah, Amanda and Tommy.

This account has been set up per the wishes of Billy and kids who are thankful so many friends are offering support and asking "what can we do."  While it is difficult to talk about, the fact is that medical and funeral expenses will be hitting the family soon.  Preparations are being made for a Celebration of Life and details will be shared upon finalizing.  Funds from this account will go directly to the family to pay for medical and funeral expenses with any additional contributions to continue support for the children's caretaking.

Billy would like everyone to know their home is open any time to all friends who need to come by to share a hug, tell a story, laugh at a memory and continue Karmin's light in this world.  The next few weeks will be a whirlwind of emotions and activities for the family, but they will need all of us going forward to get through the dark days and night that will come.

While I have helped the family set up the account, Billy has been verified as the direct beneficiary and has sole control for withdrawls to pay for expenses.
