This is Sara, a beautiful, talented 16 years old, a kind and advanced honor roll student who spoke two languages fluently. She loved baking cupcakes, making people smile, loved penguins and her cats. She also played the piano and was an artist and she always smiled too. Sara however hide a terrible secret, she was also depressed, silently, she never spoke to anyone about how she felt. Sara never showed any of the signs of possibly being suicidal. We all thought we should have seen it, but she was very good at being silent about her thoughts, feelings and depression. On July 30th 2015 she tragically ended her life. An act that left a tsunami in its wake. We are all broken but more so is her mother Allie who found her. Forever changed, who battles depression now herself, who has PDST- Post trauma stress disorder among other issues. She will be forever broken. Allie Doss has become an advocate for suicide prevention, the 2nd leading cause of death among our youth, it’s the only thing that keeps her getting out of bed on a daily basis. I am creating this page to help her with her numerus medical bills, memorial costs and other expenses related to this tragedy. I am hoping we will reach people , every donation will be a blessing, no matter the size and each donation an unforgettable act of kindness, these donation will go to pay for these bills and for continued therapy.
