2018 Miss D.C. USA

“Contest 11, Cordelia Cranshaw!!!” – plays in my head every day as I get closer to another chance at obtaining a goal and a dream that I know I will achieve. Two years ago I decided to get back into pageantry. I had forgotten  the time, hard work, dedication and financial commitment it all entailed. However, I was finally at a point in my life where I could make this commitment and give it my all. I first got involved into pageantry when I was 16 years old. I tried to compete thereafter but didn’t have the support as a teen to be successful. After competing against 16 confidently beautiful women and not placing in the top 10, I knew I had to begin prepping the next day for the pageant the following year. That is just what I did and landed placing 4RU in the 2017 Miss DC USA pageant. I am back at it again with no days off – making every day count, taking what I’ve learned and applying it to my everyday life. Pageants are indeed pricey and any contribution helps!
