The Pioneer Village at Caesars Creek is a group which is dedicated to preserving history. We are a private non-profit organization which is entrusted with caring for and maintaining a village of historical buildings from the 18th and 19th century. These buildings are on display year round for the public to visit and we have events once a month when the buildings are open and everyone can come inside and explore for themselves. Along with this, we also have many demonstrations of how life was when the buildings were first built and many village members on hand to educate and answer any questions you may have.

We are creating this fund because the regular maintenance and preservation of these buildings is a rather large endeavor and one that takes more money than our current events can generate. While we continue to strive to make our events more profitable and generate more funds through the events, there are preservation projects which need immediate funding so we are reaching out to the community to help assist us through donations. Your donations will go towards the preservation of this amazing living museum and piece of our history which is quickly being forgotten as buildings of these types rapidly disappear from our society.

All of the donations which we receive are going to go towards the repairs and preservation of these buildings (a few of which we have included pictures of here) . As they are all hundreds of years old, a lot of care goes into ensuring that they will be around for many generations to come. This includes repairs on some of the cabins due to aging and the regular maintenance needed on the logs to preserve them against the harsh Ohio weather. One of our largest projects right now is working to preserve the Lukens barn which is one of the buildings original to the property as it is really starting to show it's age and we want to return it to its previous glory where social events will once again be able to be hosted like community barn dances.

Our community of volunteers donates countless hours of their lives year round to ensuring these buildings remain as this is a passion for us. Finding a village such as ours is a rare find especially with a group that cares so much for the living history we are working to preserve. With your help, we can keep these buildings around for many generations to continue to experience. We appreciate any help you can give us and if you would want to become a member of the Pioneer Village we would also love to have you join us in our love of this history and life.
