Goose's CCL Surgery

Dear Human, 

My name is Goose! I was brought to the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin by a kind lady who found me roaming the streets of Beloit as a stray. Sadly, my owners never came to get me. I thought that maybe things would start to get better for me, but during my medical exam, Dr. Heather and Dr. Macy determined that I would to have surgery on my CCL. (This is the equivalent to ACL surgery in humans) I can't really use my leg all that good... I have to limp because my knee isn't stable, but  Dr. Heather and Dr. Macy say that after surgery and recovery, I'll be good as new! I can't wait to run and jump and play again!

This surgery is costly and it's not a simple procedure. CCL surgery will most likely cost $2,500 and I'm hoping that you could help? The anticipated full-recovery time is 3-6 months. I'm a very sweet and friendly dog. I'm very affectionate and I absolutely love to be with someone. I know sit and shake... and I'm very gently when taking treats from my humans here at the Humane Society. I don't really care about toys... I'm just so happy to just be with someone, especially when that someone gives me pets. Best is when I can just lay down and next to my someone and just close my eyes.
