Dear Fellow Classmates,
I am a senior in the college of LS&A; this account is anonymous for privacy reasons, but all of the following information has been verified by the people sharing this link.

My landlord has given me 7 days (4 of which have already passed) to pay my rent in full plus late fees, otherwise I am being sued in court for rent and face eviction from the property. The eviction process in most states last quite some time, but in Michigan landlords receive expedited courts dates, and I could be put out of my apartment in as little as 30 days from today. I have requested a payment arrangement, but have been denied multiple times.
I am a full-time student and employee, and have been dealing with chronic medical issues that effected my ability to work consistently from the end of January through most of February. Now that I am healthier and able to get back into work, my landlord is refusing to grant me the ability to create a payment arrangement for this month, and stresses that they are not legally obligated to do so. This, in turn has been effecting my ability to focus and keep up in school, during a time most crucial to my degree.
I cannot afford to be evicted from my apartment. This will ensure that I will never be able to rent again without cosigners, something that I do not have, and have never had, access to. It also means that I will have to withdraw from the rest of the semester, as I do not have the money to rent anywhere else in Ann Arbor either.
I have exhausted all other options available through the university, and have been denied for any public assistance. CrowdFunding is my last hope.
Please help me reach my goal of $1020 (the entire amount that I owe plus late fees), by Monday, March 11th. Anything helps, even if it is just a few dollars.
I am a first generation college student, and have worked my hardest for the past four years to make sure that I overcome all challenges that I face; this just happens to be one that I am unable to face alone.
