Ms. Repo's First Classroom

Dear Family & Friends,
As many of you know, I made a career change from book editor (though once an editor, always an editor!) to elementary teacher. I'm beyond excited to start teaching my very own fourth grade class very soon!!!

The past year I got my credential through an accelerated program at CSUN, which was truly one of the hardest things I've ever endured. What kept me going was knowing that one day I would have my own class and be able to teach children!!

Part of being a new teacher means having little to no supplies and unfortunately, spending one's own money. I want to make the classroom a learning environment where students feel safe, comfortable, and most importantly - a place where they will WANT TO LEARN.

Supplies include bulletin board materials, signs, posters, pencil boxes, pencil sharpener, and much much more. I wish that our educations system provided us with a budget for these materials, but it's just not the situation.

So any donation you are able to give will be much appreciated and will be even more appreciated by the students!!
