Hey friends! As many of you know I am heading to start rafting around the world internationally quite soon and I have the tickets bought, companies lined up and locations set. I've worked very hard to make what started as a small dream finally come to life. Soon I will embark on a truly tremendous journey and I can hardly imagine all the things I might learn and discover.
So I began thinking that the only thing missing from this journey was my own personal cataraft that could break down and was light enough to travel with. Many friends and family have seen me off the river fixing and personalizing my older jacks plastic cataraft or on the river getting surfed, or possibly, maybe even out there slaying a big rapid. The cataraft I currently have is too large and bulky for traveling, but with the purchase of a sabertooth, the places I can go in other countries and the access to rivers becomes endless.
I am not a person to really ask for anything, but with the purchase of this Sabertooth Aire Cataraft the creation of the documentary "Cats Around the World" will be final.
I already have tickets bought, money saved, companies lined up, 3 go pro's, a boyfriend that can edit and film incredibly well, and all the gear a rafter could want in the world, and not to mention the skills and know how to make it work.
So I'm asking any friends, family, and whitewater enthusiasts out there with an interest in seeing Allie Kat go around the world on a Cataraft to donate anything, even just a dollar! Every little bit helps!
I am hoping in the making of this documentary and through this effort to raise awareness and exposure, for not only female boaters, but for catarafters around the world in many well known rivers and some that will be unique and scarce in the descent.
