Cat in the House Rescue
Cat in the House Rescue provides food/water and veterinary care for community (stray/feral) cats. We also rescue, socialize and provide veterinary care for cats/kittens which are then re-homed. We have initiated a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program in our community.
On April 1, 2015 we rescued Mama Sallee and her five babies (less than 2 weeks old) from a storm drain that was filling with water.
Your generous gifts have enabled us to provide greater care for not only this litter, but the many other cats/kittens whose paths will cross with ours this year and in the future.
Your gift makes a difference. Thank you for your support!

We'll be fostering Noname until she is strong enough to be spay (must weigh 2 lbs). She has tested negative for FLV/FIV (yay!). She will receive her first vaccinations soon. She is bouncing back quickly and is now climbing, running and pouncing. She'll be playing with the other kittens soon.
Thank you for your generous contributions which are used for vet and living expenses for our rescue.
The veterinary fees for each kitten is $200-$250. ($48 OV, $48 FLV/FIV testing, $16 FVRCP first vaccination, $135 spay or $95 neuter). This does not include special dietary needs, litter, etc.
We consider it money well spent and find great joy in seeing cats/kittens such as Noname be able to have a chance at a long, healthy, happy life.
Your donations help us help more cats/kittens through our rescue/foster/adoption and trap/neuter/return programs.
We thank you!
Rescue/adoption and TNR serves an important need in our communities. And it comes with a price. Low cost spay/neuter is available but it does not include pain medications, FLV/FIV testing, vaccinations, deworming, flea treatments, or food, litter and enrichment toys/furniture. Cat in the House Rescue spends nearly $1,000 on food just for community cats each year. As costs run in the thousands for a small operation such as ours, your generous sharing of resources is very much appreciated. Thank you for your continued support! Together we are making a difference.
